Ian's debut performance...

Ian has been volunteering a few hours at work (Dechert) to read with some children as part of the Philadelphia Reads program. Today was their holiday party where Ian was recruited to play the part of an orc (and I am not entirely sure of what that is...). Isn't Ian quite the actor...

Studying

So the next couple weeks are all studying and wedding all the time... Finals are going to be rough this year, but they'll before so quickly hopefully it will be painless. So for the next two weeks everything else stops. It'll be so nice to be married with no school to worry about I can't wait. For the moment though I have some help studying.

Wedding drama...

Weddings are supposed to be happy celebrations...but far too many times they are not. It seems that everyone has expectations as to how they should go...everyone offers opinions (often at times when it is too late to do anything about it)...but few actually help. It takes sooo much effort to plan these things, particularly when on a shoestring budget.
We are beyond our means...things have come up that are outside of the budget, and we have nothing more to give. We are poor and in debt. I really don't know what we are going to do about this...and frankly I am sick and tired of the stress of dealing with this. The planning is ruining many aspects of life. The stress is unbelievable...and to think that all of this would be over if we had just sticked to our original plans to go to St. Thomas. Close friends and family wanted to come, the plans had been made (very simple as they were), and deposits were paid...everything was on track. How to recover now?

Boozing with my B's

So tonight my class was canceled, and I was privileged enough to stay home with my wonderful fiance and the dogs. She is currently working on her jewelry habit, making something beautiful I'm sure.

Luna, who has been peeing on the floor during the day, has been crated during the day and is now drinking her sorrows away:

I think Ginger is not a fan of our new addition Sadie, shes hitting the bottle as well.

A New Exhibit: Sadie

Here at the zoo we strive to bring in the finest new exhibits to keep the public entertained. To that end we have adopted the wonderful and hyper Sadie:Sadie is accepting donations of chicken flavored rawhide to ease her transition, though she seems to be doing well so far.
